First Customer Quilt

I was really nervous to do this quilt. Hilary had made this heart quilt for her granddaughter using all her old dresses. It was such a lovely quilt to do as I LOVE hearts in a quilt. The backing was a thick soft minky. Another first for me. That added to my trepidation as I had heard mixed views on having this on the back of quilts. The one thing that popped up every time was to load it so the selvage was attached to the take up bars. Thankfully it went well and there was about 3 inches to spare.
