July free motion quilt challenge

So I finally took the plunge.

on the 14th April Stephanie of   Designs4Africa delivered my 2nd hand long-arm machine.
A simply sixteen.
I was so excited and now the practice begins.

I loaded a practice piece of white muslin to try out different designs - some look better than others.

not knowing what to do with that practice piece I cut it up and made it into a bag to hold our biltong maker. 

Not a great work of art but it is a nice reference to see how far I have come
